What is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)?

The TDAC is the official online arrival form required by the Royal Thai Government. Since 1 May 2025 it has replaced the paper TM6 card and is mandatory for every foreign visitor entering Thailand by air, land or sea. The TDAC itself is not a visa — it is an immigration declaration.

How long does it take to process my TDAC?

When should I submit my TDAC?

Thai Immigration accepts the TDAC up to 3 days (72 hours) before your arrival date. We recommend submitting 2–3 days before departure so you have time to print or save the confirmation.

Do children and infants need their own TDAC?

Yes. Every traveller — including infants and minors — needs an individual TDAC. You can add multiple travellers to a single application during checkout.

Is the TDAC the same as a Thai visa?

No. The TDAC is an immigration declaration form that everyone must complete, including travellers entering Thailand visa-free. If your nationality requires a visa to enter Thailand, you still need to obtain that visa separately.
